Dreams

Shelli brought up a post about dreams and then it got me thinking. What are the dreams that you wake up to and say 'Thank GOD that was just a dream'? I've had a few of those in my life time but you know, if it's scary I don't want it! lol I can't watch scary movies so why did I dream about zombies chasing me and wanting to eat my brain? *sniffle* And why are they driving in a topless chev?

Now what about those dreams you just wish you didn't wake up from. Ok, you guys might think it's weird but Garth Brooks. He was my teenage rock star. Now coming from Aus, country music ain't that big so he was my secret. LOL making it extra tasty. So what, after years, am I doing fantasizing about him...and you know, he never took off his cowboy hat. *wink* Must be that... *drool*

Tell me about your dream that you did/didn't want to wake up from.

Hmmm... this is so cheesy, and I get mad at myself when I wake up. But it's when I dreamt I've found 'the one' the man I'm destined to be with. And in my dream I experience the kind of love that makes your throat choke up. And in my dream I'm SO happy.

I always wake up and get super pissed, because I consider myself a strong woman who doesn't necessarily need a man.

Uh... to be honest, I've never had one of those dreams in which I don't want to wake up. *lol* I only dream when my subconscious is trying to tell me something. Obviuosly, since it speaks in symbolisms, dreaming is the perfect vehicle to let me know the truth behind a problem.

One of the scariest, realest dreams I ever had... I was scuba diving and couldn't get to the surface and my oxygen ran out so I new I was going to drown. I woke up gasping, my heart and lungs hurt so bad I was worried I'd really had a heart attack or ruptured a lung because my body had been reacting to the fear in real life. But I was also scared to call for help because I was a teen after all. I lived. I was sore for a day or two though. Not that often dreams are so real they hurt.

The dream I found myself wanting to wake up from was one in which the devil came to me and was toting me around...sort of like the Ghost of Christmas Past did with Scrooge.

He was showing me all the things he could change in my past, present, and future...how he could make things so much better for me if I just turned my soul over to him.

And I was scared to death...because it was so real.

The devil is a handsome chap, by the way.

Anyhow, just as I was about to piss my pants, the devil and I got pretty hot and heavy.

Then I didn't want to wake up at all.

Garth... mmmm. I'm not a country music fan so much, but he's always had a draw for me too. You think it's the hat?

Happy Easter!

You mean like the one where I ran over my sister with my car? OMG tht was a nightmare. I actually felt the bump of the car as it went over her. Yes, I have VERY vivid dreams.

Um, One Foot Forward came from a dream, but that was a good dream.

The worst dream I ever had was when I dreamed that I woke up late and rushed off to work only to realize I'd left my newborn asleep in his crib at home.

Talk about terrified!

No, I never did that, but I did have tha nightmare shortly after giving birth to my son.

Now... For the good dreams...hmm. *wink* I think I'll keep those "secret". But I will admit, between you and me, I think Garth's pretty hot, too with that black cowboy hat. :D
